MASTER’S AND MAGISTER THESES IN THE PERIOD 1955–2025
• Aurelija Spirić, MSc defended her master’s thesis in 1974 entitled: “Investigation of the Association Constants of Chloroform with Organic Solvents Using Nuclear Magnetic Resonance” at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University of Belgrade, Department of Physical Chemistry, and obtained the academic title Master of Physical-Chemical Sciences.
• Ljubica Bastić-Golubović, MSc defended her master’s thesis on 30 September 1974 at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade, and obtained the academic title Master of Technical Sciences.
• Tadija Stamenković, MSc defended his master’s thesis in 1986 entitled: “Influence of Pig Categories and Curing Procedures on Certain Quality Properties of Meat Products of the ‘Užice Prosciutto’ Type” at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade, and obtained the academic title Master of Agricultural Sciences.
• Smiljana Raičević, MSc defended her master’s thesis and obtained the academic title Master of Chemical Sciences.
• Snežana Saičić, MSc defended her master’s thesis in 1990 entitled: “Investigation of Biochemical Changes in Lipids of Animal Origin” at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade, and obtained the academic title Master of Chemical Sciences.
• Mary Puškarica, MSc defended her master’s thesis in 1993 entitled: “Investigation of the Possibility of Detecting Chloramphenicol Residues in Meat Using Microbiological Methods” at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Belgrade, and obtained the academic title Master of Veterinary Sciences.
• Radivoj Petronijević, MSc defended his master’s thesis on 14 October 1997 entitled: “A Kinetic Method for the Determination of Trace Amounts of Selenium” at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade, and obtained the academic title Master of Chemical Sciences.
• Mirjana Milanović Stevanović, MSc defended her master’s thesis in 1999 entitled: “Investigation of the Influence of Domestic Spices on Major Changes in Raw Sausages During Ripening and Drying” at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Belgrade, and obtained the academic title Master of Veterinary Sciences.
• Nenad Parunović, MSc defended his master’s thesis on 5 July 2000 entitled: “Investigation of the Relationship Between Skatole Content in Fat Tissue and the Organoleptic Evaluation of Meat Products from Young Boars” at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Belgrade, and obtained the academic title Master of Veterinary Sciences.
• Dragica Karan, MSc defended her master’s thesis on 14 July 2000 entitled: “Investigation of the Influence of Selected Domestic Spices on the Shelf Life and Quality of Frankfurters” at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Belgrade, and obtained the academic title Master of Veterinary Sciences.
• Slobodan Lilić, MSc defended his master’s thesis on 19 October 2000 entitled: “Investigation of Major Factors Affecting the Shelf Life and Quality of Dried Pork” at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Belgrade, and obtained the academic title Master of Veterinary Sciences.
• Biljana Dević, MSc defended her master’s thesis in 2002 entitled: “Hygienic Safety and Quality of Pork and Beef from Animals with Enlarged Thyroid Glands” at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Skopje, and obtained the academic title Master of Agricultural Sciences.
• Tatjana Radičević, MSc defended her master’s thesis on 12 April 2002 entitled: “Biochemical Characterization of Myofibrillar Proteins of Bighead Carp (Aristichthys nobilis Richardson) Tissue Relevant to Product Quality” at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade, and obtained the academic title Master of Biochemical Sciences.
• Aleksandra Stjepanović, MSc defended her master’s thesis on 10 June 2003 and obtained the academic title Master of Biotechnical Sciences.
• Jasna Đinović Stojanović, MSc defended her master’s thesis on 19 November 2004 entitled: “Influence of the ‘Kostolac’ Thermal Power Plant Ash Disposal Site on the Quality of Surrounding Wastewater, Groundwater and Surface Waters” at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade, and obtained the academic title Master of Chemical Sciences.
• Ivan Nastasijević, MSc defended his master’s thesis on 22 February 2005 entitled: “Investigation of the Effect of Peroxyacetic Acid on the Lipid Component of Bacterial Spores and Contribution to the Standardization of Efficiency Testing” at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade, and obtained the academic title Master of Biochemical Sciences.
• Vesna Đorđević, MSc defended her master’s thesis on 19 November 2005 entitled: “Comparative Study of Selected Analytical Methods for Assessing the Freshness of Trout” at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Belgrade, and obtained the academic title Master of Veterinary Sciences.
• Slavica Vesković Moračanin, MSc defended her master’s thesis on 27 December 2005 entitled: “Influence of Bacteriocins Isolated from Leuconostoc mesenteroides E131 and Lactobacillus sakei I154 on Listeria monocytogenes During the Production of Sremska Sausage” at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade, and obtained the academic title Master of Biotechnical Sciences – Field of Food Technology – Technological Microbiology.
• Dragan Milićević, MSc defended his master’s thesis on 8 June 2006 entitled: “Presence of Ochratoxin A Residues in Blood Plasma, Liver and Kidneys of Slaughtered Pigs” at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Novi Sad, and obtained the academic title Master of Agricultural Sciences.
• Danijela Vranić, MSc defended her master’s thesis on 22 December 2006 entitled: “Comparative Analysis of the Antioxidative System in Pigs and Cattle” at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade, and obtained the academic title Master of Biochemical Sciences.
• Branko Velebit, MSc defended his master’s thesis on 27 February 2007 entitled: “Validation of the Multiplex Polymerase Chain Reaction for Detection and Identification of Salmonella Species” at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Belgrade, and obtained the academic title Master of Veterinary Sciences.
• Zoran Petrović, MSc defended his master’s thesis on 8 June 2007 entitled: “Tissues of Large and Small Game as Bioindicators of Environmental Pollution by Heavy Metals” at the University of Belgrade and obtained the academic title Master of Environmental Protection and Improvement Sciences.
• Dejana Trbović, MSc defended her master’s thesis on 2 June 2008 entitled: “Laboratory Proficiency Testing – Determination of Trace Elements in Water” at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade, and obtained the academic title Master of Chemical Sciences.
• Brankica Lakićević, MSc defended her master’s thesis on 25 September 2008 entitled: “Molecular Epidemiological Analysis of the Presence of Listeria monocytogenes in the Food Preparation Process” at the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade, and obtained the academic title Master of Biological Sciences.
• Branka Borović, MSc defended her master’s thesis on 11 March 2010 entitled: “Isolation and Characterization of Lactic Acid Bacteria Isolated from Traditional Sremska Sausage” at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade, and obtained the academic title Master of Biotechnical Sciences – Field of Food Technology – Technological Microbiology.
• Vladimir Korićanac defended his master’s thesis on 12 July 2013 entitled: “Determination of Oil Quality Parameters After Frying in Restaurants in Belgrade” at the Faculty of Physical Chemistry, University of Belgrade, and obtained the academic title Master of Physical Chemistry.
• Radmila Mitrović, MSc defended her master’s thesis on 12 May 2014 entitled: “Influence of Nutrition on the Meat Quality of Broodstock of California Trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss)” at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Novi Sad, and obtained the academic title Master of Veterinary Medicine in the Scientific Field of Clinical Pathology and Animal Therapy.
• Nikola Borjan defended his master’s thesis on 9 July 2014 entitled: “Chemical Investigations of Mosses from the Mavrovo Area” at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade, and obtained the academic title Master Chemist.
• Ognjen Krnjaja defended his master’s thesis on 25 September 2015 entitled: “Cloning and Expression of a Single-Chain Variable Fragment of a Monoclonal Antibody in the Yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae EBY100” at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade, and obtained the professional title Master Biochemist.
• Sara Simunović defended her master’s thesis on 25 September 2017 entitled: “Application of the Quality Index for the Evaluation of Apples Dried in scCO₂ During Shelf Life” at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade, and obtained the academic title Master Engineer of Technology.
• Igor Milošević completed second-cycle master academic studies on 6 June 2018 at the Belgrade Banking Academy – Faculty of Banking, Insurance and Finance, University Union in Belgrade, study program Investment Banking, and obtained the academic title Master Economist.
• Čaba Silađi defended his master’s thesis on 27 September 2018 entitled: “Optimization of the Recirculating Flow Ratio in the Medium for Xanthan Production Based on Winery Wastewater” at the Faculty of Technology, University of Novi Sad, and obtained the academic title Master Engineer of Technology.
• Matija Šefer completed integrated academic studies on 4 July 2019 at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade, study program Pharmacy, and obtained the professional title Master of Pharmacy.
• Stefan Simunović defended his master’s thesis on 16 September 2019 entitled: “Physico-Chemical Changes of Pirot Ironed Sausage During Ripening” at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade, and obtained the academic title Master Engineer of Technology.
• Damjan Gavrilović defended his master’s thesis on 11 October 2019 entitled: “Synthesis and Characterization of Ru(III) Complexes with Schiff Bases” at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade, and obtained the academic title Master Chemist.
