Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Mladen Sarcevic visited the Institute of Meat Hygiene and Technology in Belgrade.
The Minister emphasized that he is looking forward to the fact that there are more and more institutes that connect science and economy in their work.
The tendency of the Government and the Ministry is to invest more money in science, and the precise financing will be known when we finish work on the new law, the minister added.
Director of the Institute, Vesna Djordjevic, said that in all areas of work this institution applies European standards and that it contributes greatly to the development of the meat industry and supplying the market of the Republic of Serbia with quality foods.
